Mul’s Diner opens.

Operated by former longshoreman Joe Mulrey at, the silver, single-story, aluminum-clad breakfast-only diner is located 75 West Broadway. Subsequently run by Mulrey’s son Steve, the diner moves across the street to Amrhein’s in 2019.
